Twinings
Twinings' US website mimics the look and feel of their new line of black and chai teas to create a more cohesive brand feel, while providing the user with an easy to navigate site that answers any question they might have about Twinings tea. Users can use the Tea Explorer to discover their perfect tea, learn about the history of tea, or go directly into the Yahoo! E-Commerce store to purchase their favorite flavor. The site uses a custom PHP templating system with content pulled from a MySQL database, making content updates quick and easy. The same layout and framework was used to create the English and French Canadian versions of the site.
Darrell Lea
Darrell Lea is a brand that is well known in its home country of Australia, but has just recently been introduced to the US market. Their website plays on their Australian heritage with visual and textual cues throughout. The use of rotating imagery and an online sweepstakes keep this site engaging for users.
SootheTime
SootheTime's microsite was used to cross-promote content on display at the ABC Kids Expo. The all-flash site contains a video player mimicing the content on display on the various video screens from the booth, while SWFAddress allows users to bookmark or link to individual videos. A contact form uses PHP and MySQL to notify brand executives of product interest and add users to a contact database.
p.i.n.k. Spirits
p.i.n.k. Spirits was the first flavorless vodka infused with caffeine and guarana. Their site reflects the energy the brand conveys through motion graphics and regularly updated content featuring the latest celebrity endorsements and event photos. The site is built with a plethora of goodies like SWFaddress, a custom CMS, and more.
Kimball Communications
Kimball Communications uses a clean design with a traditional, straightforward navigation to allow users to easily find the information they're looking for. Information about clients, press releases, and case studies is pulled from a MySQL database to allow for fresh, easy to update content. Kimball PR uses it's integrated blog to publish current news and thoughts and trends in the PR industry, all while helping to build search engine friendly content.
Lucid Absinthe Supéreure
Lucid needed a new website to better communicate their brand presence and let the consumer know that they are the authority on authentic absinthe in the United States. To accomplish this, I created an immersive website that utilizes an atmospheric fog and period music to create the Lucid enviornment. The site makes extensive use of XML for content delivery, and uses the open source SWFAddress library for bookmarking and forward/backward button browser compatibility. User data is collected through forms using ColdFusion so Lucid can target their core consumer through email marketing with news and special offers.
